Our unique network Skills Testing System (STS) assesses the skills of trainees before hire, then evaluates the their ability to use the software tools to carry out actual business tasks -- not just their ability to perform on multiple-choice exams.
The program also allows training administrators to track the performance of students and groups of students using the training system. Full diagnostic reports are easily printed showing individual and group performance on a skill-by-skill basis. Finally, you will be able to demonstrate the effectiveness of software and business skills training.
Azimuth's Skills Testing and Course Management System manages the learning process for organizations, automates the skills assessment function, and permits fine tuning of the curriculum to each individual student.
The Skills Testing System (STS) is unique in the industry because it tests trainees' real software skills over a network (LAN or Intranet).Most testing systems just present students with multiple choice and true/false questions about the software. In contrast, STS presents students with actual tasks to be completed in the software tool.
A TeacherWizard carefully evaluates and records student responses. Then, once the exam is completed, STS produces diagnostic reports on a skill-by-skill basis for students, groups, and entire organizations.
The Skills Testing and Course Management system can be custom modified to test any skill set of interest. Students should have completed the Inter@ctiveLearning Series. However, the Skills Testing System can also be used with other training systems that cover the same or similar skills that are mapped to Microsoft Office User Specialist Requirements. The Inter@ctiveLearning Series covers approximately 5500 Office skills, about 1,000 skills per tool.

To pass the entire Office exam, students should have a minimum of forty hours training in Office 97 or Office 2000 software tools. The default exam requires approximately thirty minutes per software tool. [Top of Page]

Standard multimedia PC with sound card, headphones or speakers, and monitor. NT network, Novell, and other standard LAN networks supported. Minimal network bandwidth required. 
Intranet/Internet version:
Pentium class computer with sound card, headphones or speakers, and monitor. All Internet browsers supported, minimal network bandwidth required. 
Course Management System Compatibility:
Skills Testing System is guaranteed to be compatible with most known course management systems including PathWare from Macromedia.
